Day 1 | Arrive in Hobart and overnight at the Islington Hotel for three nights. Islington Hotel is the perfect place to relax into your trip. Day 2 | Begin your day with a ferry ride to the Museum of Old & New Art (MONA), the largest art collection in Australia with its fascinating blend of ancient and modern exhibits. After lunch at MONA’s flagship restaurant, The Source, continue to the Coal River Valley Wine region to sample Tasmania’s local award-winning wines. Save some time to explore the charming colonial village of Richmond. Return to Hobart by ferry and cap off the day with a Hobart city tour. Evening at your leisure.
Day 3 | Experience the natural wonder of Bruny Island on this full-day adventure. With its magical coastlines, stunning coastal walks and local residents that include tiny penguins and orcas that linger off the coast, Bruny Island is an ideal spot for travelers looking for wilderness, remoteness and marine wildlife. Upon disembarking, indulge a sampling of local bites with a view.
Day 4 | Today you will depart Hobart, Tasmania’s capital city. You’ll visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to see Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies and Quolls. In the afternoon you’ll enjoy lunch at a local vineyard in the Coal River Valley the take a scenic drive to Saffire Freycinet.

Soak up the history and cultural sites along the lovely Freycinet Peninsula once inhabited by Oyster Bay tribe of Tasmanian Aborigines on the leisurely return to Great Oyster Bay.
There are many activities to try at Saffire Freycinet including a breakfast of fresh oysters and local champagne knee deep in the estuary, hike along empty beach and pristine trails for crisp morning views over the bay or have coffee delivered to your room for a morning of doing nothing in your suite. In the afternoon take off by helicopter for a birds-eye-view of legendary Tasmania. Soar over Great Oyster Bay and the Hazards range.
Day 6 | Depart Launceston and arrive in Sydney for four nights at the Park Hyatt Sydney.
Day 7-9 | Dig a little deeper into Australia’s darling city and you will be even more wowed. You’ll sail the harbor, go behind the scenes of the Opera House, spot Australia’s Big Five, and lean all about local Australian cuisine.
Day 10-14 | Qualia on Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef is the perfect end to an already amazing trip. If you can pull yourself away from the stunning ocean views, try sailing to coral reefs and tranquil beaches for some of the world’s best diving and snorkeling, playing a round of golf or just relaxing at the spa. Don’t miss the helicopter flight over the Whitsunday Islands and see the Great Barrier Reef from above.
