What To Expect:
Luxury Beach Tour Highlights
With a focus on privacy and beachy relaxation, Hôtel Le Toiny sits gracefully on a gentle hillside in an area of the island known as “Côte Sauvage.” The resort is comprised of 15 private pastel-colored villas decorated in the French Colonial style, one of them being an extra-large three-bedroom suite. All the villas have oak floors, limed tray ceilings, walk-in closets and come with panoramic ocean views, 10-by-20-foot private pools, and gated entrances where the red mailbox flag serves as a “Do Not Disturb” sign. Guests can soak up the sun or use the complimentary snorkel gear to observe colorful underwater life; surfboards are also available for rent at the hotel and other activities such as windsurfing, sport fishing, sailing, golf, diving, and hiking are available nearby. Many will find that the combined tranquility of island time, tropical atmosphere, and breathtaking sunsets will induce days spent lounging in simple bliss. Nonetheless, there is also a cardio gym on site, and spa treatments that use local products infused with pineapple, papaya, melon, and passion fruit extracts are available at Serenity Spa and Cottage. Le Toiny’s restaurant, Le Gaïac is also a must and dishes out creative Creole creations by Chef Stéphane Mazieres; the dessert favorite is Crèpes Suzette prepared tableside.
