What To Expect:
Kenya Travel Tour Highlights
Spend fifteen days exploring the highlights of Kenya on this comprehensive introductory tour. The trip begins with two nights in Nairobi at the Palacina Hotel. You will visit the National Museum and take a tour of this sprawling African metropolis. The next day, visit the Giraffe Center and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, both of which aid endangered species, as well as the Karen Blixen Museum. The next day you will continue on the Chyulu Hills at Campi ya Kanzi. The hills are home to spectacular wildlife and the lodge has been constructed with the intention of being environmentally sensitive. From there, head to Saruni Samburu Camp for three nights in the Samburu National Park. One of the most amazing experiences you will have here is being guided by locals and discovering the intertwined relationship between nature and human beings in this Eden. Next you will fly to Lemarti’s Camp in the Laikipia Plateau; the camp is known for encouraging local sustainable development along with provided first rate game drives and accommodation for its guests. The Laikipia Plateau has one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa and still has a good population of black rhino, so game viewing is generally excellent. Conclude the journey with three nights in the Masai Mara at Richard’s Camp, a superb base for exploring one of Africa’s greatest wildlife enclaves. Lion prides, cheetah, leopards, and rhino all inhabit this peaceful and seemingly endless expanse of land; spend two full days with expert guides who will do their best to introduce you to the wide variety of the wildlife that live in the Masai Mara.
