We are proud to be the link that enables our clients to make a firsthand connection with the four-legged resident orphans in person. We believe that is the most effective way to help the elephants—essentially giving exposure to the issues of poaching, habitat loss and building and a team of people motivated to further the Trust’s mission. Most of the Trust’s resident elephants were made orphans from poaching, which unfortunately remains all too common. As heartbreaking as the orphans’ stories are, the emotional bond and community support they receive through the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust keeps us hopeful about their futures. Incorporate a visit into a traditional journey to Kenya for a meaningful experience and memories to last a lifetime.
