Found on the highest peak of St. Lucia, Jade Mountain more than utilizes its vantage point. Designed by Canadian architect Nick Troubetzkoy, Jade Mountain organically wraps around the hillside, with open front suites whose infinity pools extend over the cliff side and gaze out on the great Pitons. Each of the 29 suites, or sanctuaries as they are called at Jade Mountain, are designed in a loft-like format. The bedroom eases into the living room which melts into a private infinity pool and raised Jacuzzi. Great pillars of roughly hewn stone frame the panoramic view. Scattered throughout the property are secret bridges that lead to additional infinity pools. The property is fittingly “techno-free” so guests may fully emerge themselves in the magical setting (however, wifi can be accessed in the reception and in guest suites upon request). The Kai en Ciel boutique spa and fitness studio offers beauty treatments, holistic and ayurvedic services, and complimentary yoga classes.
