From magical summers cloaked in wildflowers to winters of unparalleled skiing and hot tub soaking, the Amangani is an idyllic spot to embrace the majesty of Jackson, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park. Perched on East Gros Ventre Butte, the minute you walk in the property killer views of the Tetons become all-encompassing. The heated 115-foot-long infinity pool deserves to be soaked in all day (trust us, we’ve done it), and is also the perfect spot to return to after a day on the slopes or trekking the hillsides. All of Amangani’s suites evoke native Wyoming design with redwood walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, cozy fireplaces, deep soaking tubs, and a private outdoor patio with take-your-breath-away panoramic views.
We loved the attention to design detail including the floor-to-ceiling commanding fireplaces, antique Native American headdresses and the cowhide chairs that decorated the public spaces. The Amangani is just twenty minutes to slopes, where guests can enjoy the resort’s private ski lounge in Teton Village (no lines here!). Additional winter activities such as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog-sledding, and horse-drawn sleigh rides are also at your fingertips. In the spring and summer, Jackson springs to life with colorful wildflowers and astounding wildlife; Nearby Grand Teton and Yellowstone fill with grazing bison, elk, moose, and other astonishing creatures; and the Snake River teems with fish and becomes a haven for fly fisherman. During these months guests enjoy activities such as canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, and mountain biking. Hot-air ballooning above Jackson Hole is another exhilarating way to start to a day and golfers can choose between two 18-hole championship courses. No matter the season, the Amangani’s peaceful setting, superb service, and luxurious accommodations offer an unsurpassed portal to one of the United States’ most beautiful spots.
