Commune by the Great Wall
Hailed by Business Week as a “New Architectural Wonder of China,” the Commune is a private collection of contemporary architecture overlooking the Great Wall of China.
Comprised of forty-two villas, 190 suites, eleven presidential suites, and four restaurants, this unique hotel was designed by twelve Asian architects and was a prize winner at the 2002 la Biennale di Venezia. In addition to the outdoor pool and tennis court, guests can also delight in Anantara Spa’s traditional Chinese massage, bath, and steam rituals. The hotel also features a private walking path that accesses an untouched portion of the Great Wall.
