Vumbura Plains Safari Camp
On a private concession in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta, the 12 camps of Vumbura are linked by a raised walkway. The interiors of the rooms are bright, with unexpectedly modern lines that provide a nice contrast to the landscape; each room has its own dining area, lounge, and plunge pool.
The area attracts both wetland and savannah wildlife, and is one of the few camps where guests can spot the elusive red lechwe. The camp overlooks a vast floodplain, and boating, walks, and mokoro rides give guests an opportunity to enjoy the delta from a different perspective. The birding and game viewing at Vumbura Plains are considered excellent year-round.
