Duba Plains Camp
Duba Plains is a true delight, offering guests one of the most inspiring and private Okavango Delta experiences in Botswana. This eco-sensitive camp in Botswana is tiny; with only twelve guests (five rooms!) the property can create a truly authentic boutique safari experience. The wow factor is the setting and the privacy; Duba Plains offers guests “wild Africa” as it’s surrounded by Okavango Delta’s flooded plains, winding channels, and jaw-dropping wildlife spectacles such as huge herds of buffalo and the Duba lions who pursue them! Shaded by towering ebony, sycamore, fig, and mangosteen trees, the six roomy tents are raised off the ground on wooden desks for uninterrupted views of the flood plains. Expect to be awe-inspired by activities ranging from tracking buffalo herds around the private 77,000 acre reserve, boat rides through the canals, nature walks and remarkable bird watching. Don’t miss indulging with a massage along the water’s edge–an excellent way to cap off the day.
