World Wildlife Fund
For 50 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature.
The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.
Absolute Travel is proud to provide operational and logistical support for select World Wildlife Fund conservation-focused expeditions. These journeys include working with marine protected areas, forests, wildlife, and communities in the Himalaya and Greater Mekong Region.
These custom-designed expeditions allow WWF’s closest supporters to see firsthand the positive impact being made. They offer exclusive opportunities to discover the wildlife and ecosystems they protect; meet community members whose lives are being improved through their work; and immerse travelers in the worlds of their field staff and partners on the ground.
In 2015 we proudly supported WWF though our annual holiday giving program by making a donation in honor of our travelers to help protect and support the wildlife and natural areas we all cherish. “We are thrilled to work with Absolute Travel to help demonstrate our opportunities and accomplishment in the field,” says WWF Travel Program Director Karl Egloff. “They provide very personalized service and understand the needs and expectations of our travelers.”
