Spend five nights in Taipei: your city base allows you to explore the temples and museums of the city, plus the remarkable mountains and villages just a short drive from the heart of the capital. Spend two full days touring Taipei's museums and temples. A full day excursion takes you to Yangminshan, whose hot springs, waterfalls, and fresh mountain air are popular amongst Taipei's residents and visitors alike. A day trip south of the capital takes you to Yingko, the nation's pottery center, and Wulai.
