Weather permitting, take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the coast. From Cape Town, head to Klein Genot in the famed Winelands, where elegant Cape Dutch estates are set amid rolling green vineyards; lovers of fine food, wine, and gracious architecture will be delighted at this portion of the trip. After savoring the diverse pleasures of Cape Town and its environs, fly to Mpumalanga and settle into the opulent Lion Sands River Lodge for four nights.
