| Muscat, Wahiba Sands, Salalah | |||
| A true exploration of Oman's varied offerings requires a minimum of a week, and this program offers a comprehensive itinerary that combines time in the more frequented northern region with the entirely different geography of the southern region of Salalah. While the north of Oman is hot and dry, the southern region shares the tropical weather patterns of India, and even receives the same monsoon rains; as a result, Salalah is a vacation destination for Omanis who long for the refreshing change it offers from the unvarying heat of the north. Start with several days in Muscat, exploring the city on a privately guided tour and enjoying its perfect resort weather. On your fourth day, drive out to the Wahiba Sands and spend a night at a camp in the desert, followed the next morning with a visit with a traditional Bedouin tribe. After returning to Muscat for a single night, fly down to Salalah, where a full day exploring the surrounding towns and sights awaits. Return to Muscat to connect to your international departure flight. | |||
| Like all of our tours, this is simply a suggested itinerary, and can easily be customized to suit your schedule, budget, and interests |
