Start with a two-night stay in Kuala Lumpur at Carcosa Seri Negara. Take a privately guided introductory tour of the city that includes the King's Palace, the Jamek Mosque, and the National Museum. Next, depart overland to the Cameron Highlands, a region famous for its magnificent beauty and the high-quality tea produced there. Among the highlights of the Cameron Highlands visit will be an opportunity to meet some of the Orang Asli ("Original People") and touring a tea plantation, vegetable farm, and rose garden. From here, transfer overland to Penang Island, where you will spend the night at the famed Eastern and Oriental Hotel in the center of the colonial city of Georgetown. The next day, fly to the mystical island of Langkawi, where your accommodation is the luxurious boutique hotel the Datai. Tucked into a tropical rainforest complete with a secluded white sand beach facing the blue waters of the Andaman Sea, the Datai offers complete indulgence and relaxation, a perfect way to conclude your visit.
