Included in the Beijing portion is a trip to the Great Wall, one of the most impressive man-made monuments in the world. Continue to the ancient capital city of Xian for an overnight stay: tour the many pagodas and temples for which the city is famous, as well as the Terracotta Warrior Army and the superb Shaanxi Provincial Museum. The next day, fly to Guilin for two days exploring the Reed Flute Cave, cruising along the Li River, and touring villages in incredibly scenic Yangshuo. From Guilin, fly to Chongqing, where you will board your boat for a three-day cruise along the mighty Yangtze River. The cruise concludes in Yichang, from which point you will fly to Shanghai, China's most dynamic city. Tour the Bund and the Yu Yuan Garden-the inspiration for the famed "Willow Pattern."
