The
LandisTaipei Sparkling and elegant, the Landis is one of Taipei's premier hotels, and a recent renovation has resulted in a thoroughly modern property. Located only 40 minutes from the international airport, the Landis sits firmly in the central business district and is close to nearby shopping spots. Though decorated in a traditional French art-deco style, the hotel is actually a very modern high-rise building and the rooms are light and airy, with a neutral color palette that creates a soothing sense of calm. An on-site health center offers fitness equipment, a sauna, a rooftop Jacuzzi, and a full-time masseuse on duty. Paris 1930, considered by locals to be Taipei's best classic French restaurant, is highly recommended and authentic Hangchow Chinese is available at Tien Hsiang Lo.
