2017 travel goal: I’m so excited to go on a Family Trip with AMNH (American Museum of Natural History, of Night at the Museum fame!) to the Seychelles. The trip combines my love of family travel with my passion for philanthropic travel to create my ideal program! We will be joined by an AMNH curator and traveling to some areas that are not typically explored.
Travel mode: On trips where I’m with groups, I always book a spa treatment. It’s tough work and I feel like I deserve it! And honestly, some of the best spas in the world are found in the hotels and destinations we are traveling to.
On family trips I try to mix experiential travel with cultural travel. So we may spend a morning at a museum, learn how to make pottery in the afternoon, or go for a day of horseback riding and then include a day hiking to hill tribes.
